ABOUT FLORENCE LAKE

Florence Lake lies on the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border in Canada’s North. The lake is approximately 25KM north of the Flin Flon/Creighton area, as the crow flies, but is accessible only by floatplane in the summer months. For your convenience, Haskins Bay Fly-In will arrange return flights from Flin Flon, MB to Haskins Bay camp.

Florence Lake spans 6 kilometers, with many miles of shoreline from the numerous bays, inlets, points, islands, and inflow/outflow creeks. The lake offers up excellent walleye, perch, and northern pike fishing opportunities.

The relatively small size of Florence Lake makes it easily navigable and ideal for self-guided fishing.

Florence Lake sits among a Boreal Shield landscape characterized by coniferous forest and exposed Canadian Shield rock. You’ll share the area with wildlife common to the region such as beavers, loons, spruce grouse, eagles, pelicans, caribou, moose, wolves, and black bear among others.
